The last day of 2018 is proving to be a slightly wet one,
which is always good for 'ol California. And
it's been a heck of a year, hasn't it?

A Jimi Hendrix poster I earned selling magazine
subscriptions when I was in the seventh grade.

I wasn't too experienced then, but I started
becoming experienced shortly thereafter.

Just a (real) short. Cooking up a few taters.

The payoff.

My son made sure that it snowed every night at
El Rancho De La Tex during November and December.

Well, I had another tooth pulled today. This one hurt quite a bit
afterwards, but it is a good kind of hurt as it is resolving an issue
that has given me a lot of pain for the last nine days.

Look at all that gauze. I think I was suppose to bleed a lot.
I go back in five days to have the stitches removed.

Christmas tree in my dentist's office.

~ Merry Christmas 2018 from Lizzy Tex Borden ~

Santa, stop here.

On the way home from work last night one of
my teeth felt kind of funny. Today it was pulled.

That was WAY out of the blue.

"Citizen! There is nowhere to run. Please immediately
return to the store with the stolen merchandise. An
officer will be waiting for you. Failure to comply
will result in physical intervention.
I repeat: Citizen!..."

It's Mission Impossible Day here at The Ranch!
I had seen "Mission Impossible: Fallout" at the
theater and KNEW I was going to buy the Blu-ray
when it was released.... and I did. This is the sixth
Mission in the series and it does not let down.

The booklet is small enough to fit in the Blu-ray case
and is ten pages (including the cover and back). It
has photos of some of the stunts and descriptive
quotes about them. One of them says that Tom Cruise
learned to fly a helicopter just for this movie. I didn't
know that this little booklet came with the movie so it
was a pleasant little surprise.

I watched the movie again and it was great fun the
second time around. I rate this movie nine out of
ten Broken Ankles.

I went to the movies on this rainy day. All of my Regal
Crown Club points are set to expire next month. I need
to go to a few movies so they are not wasted.

The "Possession of Hannah Grace". Bad choice. Bad bad choice.
I think they were banking on yet another girl who could contort her
body while they added some bone cracking noises to make this movie
scary. It did not work. Went nowhere. I've seen worse. But.... If you
want to see this movie, wait until it shows up in the $3.74 bin at
Walmart. Because it will. I rate this movie 4.5 out of 10 Xanax.

A little rain.
