In 1963 this reservoir in Baldwin Hills (California)... broke.
It destroyed over 200 homes and several lives were lost.
Sometime after that we flew over it in a private plane and I
took this picture of the aftermath. Yes, I was very young.

I scanned the photo from a contact sheet.

    Hey Duane! I posted this not knowing that it was almost to the day of the 50 year anniversary of this thing. That was kinda weird.
