I bought "Star Trek Beyond". I have the first two movies

and they are a lot of fun. I watched this one and it too is

a lot of fun. I think the first movie is first best, the second

movies is second best, and this one is third best. Totally

worth a watch. I like the humor in these movies a lot.

And on Blu-ray they look great.

Here is another picture of the Universal Studios Los Angeles

stunt show, 1987. The comedy relief is in the pit. I always love

the cowboy stunt shows. I like them more when the comedy is

downplayed, but I suppose the comedy is for the kids and

folks who are not into Westerns for Westerns sake.

I bought Green Day's new CD called Revolution Radio.

This CD is kick butt. If you like Green Day, pretty sure

you will like this. Seems like traditional almost old school

Green Day to me. Good driving music.

Just thought I would mention this.

I don't know who or what these guys are, but

I am pretty sure it would blow to be one of them.
The guy on the right in the middle looks
especially tormented.

Here is a ram skull at Halloween City. It did not have a price

on it which is a good thing. I was really wanting it and not

knowing a price and not wanting to ask was a great deterrent.

Oh. Horrid paint job. I understand.

 When I went to Big Lots there was a Halloween City

store close by so I took a little look inside. As it turns

out, this store is kind of weak. It is kind of like a poor

man's Spirit Store. Just not much in there.

These clowns are the official greeters.

This one appears to have an attitude.

Ho-lee-cow. I bought "Insidious: Chapter 3" at Big Lots and

this movie is KING of the jump-scares. Some people hate

jump-scares and I am not in love with them myself. But it

was entertaining and I am STILL creeped out as I write this.

And these are not your "throw a cat into frame"or "touch your

friend on the shoulder" scares. Nope. Like I said: KING.

If your heart can take it, I suggest watching this movie and for

what it is I give it 6.5 out of 10 lanterns in the dark.

the scariest Halloween decorations.

I haven't carved a jack o' lantern for a looong time. I keep

meaning to, wanting to, but stuff just keeps distracting me.

I will have to try harder, sometime.

I know... Kind of boring to see the Regal Theater over and over,

but it's a beautiful new day and this is one of my all-time

favorite places.

I have my popcorn and diet (of course!) Coke

The Magnificent Seven! Okay, THIS was a good movie. It is getting

mixed reviews but I sit on a comfortable rock in the "it was a lot

of fun" camp. I bought the movie "Geronimo - An American Legend"

on Saturday, August 20 and it had that coupon for $7.50 towards a

ticket for M7, so I only paid $1. Now that is a bargain. I will just say

that if you love westerns, this is worth seeing. I rate it 8 out of 10

cowboys who save the day.

I cannot wait to buy this movie and see it again.

I was driving down the road today and I

spotted this guy running along side of me.

I floored it and lost him.

I spotted this A&W Root Beer in a vending machine

the other day and thought I might give it a try. It has

been a long time since I have had root beer. So I put

it in the refrigerator and pull it out every once in a while

for a sip. Holy COW it is good.

I think a six pack is in my future.

My mom went to Maine this summer and she brought

this t-shirt back for me. She asked if it was something

I would wear while out and about. I answered, "In today's

climate? Not sure... I'm just not sure."

She said it was a "just for fun" present anyway.

Nine years ago the Spirit Halloween Store had this

big balloon floating waaaaay up high over their building.

Well, my son is out of town so we didn't do our Annual

Halloween Store Crawl for 2016. This is the first time in

years that I missed it. I am still trying to keep the spirit

going here though. I am pretty sure I will have the day

after Halloween off so I might be able to crawl around

and buy some of that 50% off goodness at some stores.

I just don't know. Some of the TV show titles are just....

I always say "I am not a prude"... Maybe I am. Because

I feel these titles could be a bit more... tasteful.

Will you look at how close I was able to park at Walmart

today? Now, I am no slacker. According to my pedometer

I walk an average of four to six miles a day at work. So

on my day off, sometimes I appreciate a little break.

And this is a little weird. This is the second season in a row

that I have stumbled across a clown mask that somebody left

laying around far from the Halloween costume section of the

store. Friday, September 18, 2015.... same thing. *gasp*

I bought "Traded" on DVD. I wanted to see another western because

you KNOW that I. love. westerns. OH MY GOSH this movie was

TERRIBLE. One of the worst westerns I have ever seen. Because I

have a certain amount of respect for Kris Kristofferson as a cowboy in

films, I am not going to go into it, but Kris, time to hang it up. I rate this

movie two out of ten whiskey bottles and they are each half empty, which

really only adds up to ONE whiskey bottle, but I am trying to be kind.

 

 On the way home I passed under the bridge again and yes, people are still

dumping their trash here. It never ends. Kind of makes ya mad, no?

It was an okay day.

This centipede fell into a plastic bucket in our

washroom. How or where from, we have no idea.

I finally broke down and bought a movie poster for one of

my all time favorites. Bud and Sissy rule the school.

It is just never too late for those pesky

brush-fires to rear their ugly heads.

I added another Simpson to my collection.

Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack. A friend took myself

and another friend to see this movie in Westwood California

the week it opened. I was an immediate fan.

This is an old door at El Rancho De La Tex. I go through

it quite a few times during the day. But one thing I don't use

it for is to go outside to smoke cigarettes. That is because I

don't smoke. And today is my 13th Anniversary

being smoke free.

Hip hip!

But as I say all the time, I will always support those who DO

smoke cigarettes. They are getting a bum rap. Totally. Anyway,

today is my anniversary and I am thankful that I do not ever want

to smoke. The cravings are pretty much gone anymore.
