Well, we went on our Halloween 2024 Mini-Crawl which

consisted of... one store. But I did pick something up, we

had a lot of fun and now we are...

...going to be looking for all of this stuff!

I bought this skeleton at the Spirit Halloween

store back in September of 2013 but I only today

took the zip ties off of him. Tonight I am going
to go ahead and hang him up on the stairway
or something... after everybody is asleep.

This skull makes his annual SPOOKTOBER
appearance at the top of the ranch stairs. My
mom bought this for me years ago.

I still have this skull that I bought over 11 years

ago. It is motion activated and plays the theme song

from the movie Halloween.

I bought these two little trick-or-treating bears
at Walmart in 2007. They have lived in my

curio cabinet since then.

Due to circumstances this year, we have not gone on our
Annual Halloween Store Crawl for 2024 yet. We will most
likely be making a mini-crawl sometime in the next
two weeks. Even though we are going mini
this year, we are still excited.

This coupon will come in handy for something
 I know I would like to buy. I just hope they still
have the item when we go.

Some of us enjoy having these guys hanging around all

year long. They are always in season at The Ranch.

I'm not sure which Friday the 13th I will

be watching tonight, but I will be watching

one of 'em to be certain.

I am TOTALLY excited to see these two movies.

I have heard a lot of good things about "Late Night

with the Devil". And I wanted to see "Horizon: An
American Saga - Chapter 1" in the theater but
that isn't happening much anymore.
Now I have it to watch at home.

JALAPENO UPDATE!

The lone little flower on my jalapeno plant

has gotten bigger overnight. Man, hopefully
that jalapeno pepper is on the horizon!

And it took a long time, but I reached

TWO BILLION DOLLARS

on the Slot King phone game I am playing.

I am so filthy rich.

Hauntin' times a-comin!

Here are the jalapeno plants that I have been growing

from seed out in the garage (the only safe place around
here) for the last TWELVE MONTHS. The poor
little spindly stemmed guys.

I don't hold out much hope of anything really coming of

this, but one of them is finally giving us a little something

to watch. Our first teeny jalapeno bud.
This might be interesting.

It is once again August 24th so...

Happy National Knife Day!

For this year's National Knife Day I am showing my

Aitor JKII Skeletal Skinner. I cannot remember where

I picked this up, but it was a long, long time ago.  This thing

is 4 3/4 inches long with a 1 3/8 inch cutting edge. It is

pretty dang sharp too. It comes with an OD green
nylon sheath that has a protective insert.

The knife is made of stainless steel and features a gut hook,
screwdriver, lashing holes, ridged handle slot and
it even has a bottle opener.

SHOCKING!

Anyway, it is a fun little knife that I have never used and I

enjoy having it. If you would like to have one for yourself
they are still easy to find. As usual this was fun
and I cannot wait for next year's Knife Day!

Not quite a Knife Day, but kinda.
I had to switch out my bag/purse which I really don't enjoy

doing. My Spyderco Tenacious knife was not fitting in the
new one so I needed to 86 it for a smaller knife. I bought

this Victorinox Tinker model.

I always want to have a knife in there even though I carry one

in my pocket (when I have pockets). So I dropped the Tinker

to the bottom of my purse and haven't seen it since, but I know

it is there and that is what counts. I really miss having the

Tenacious. I carried it since Friday, March 15, 2019.

This actually took place on May 30th of this year.
