My son received another nerd Loot Crate.

He got this great Alien vs. Predator pin!

He also got this cool Alien figure.

And I got PIZZA! From Little Caesars.

"Naw... Just leave it. We'll get it tomorrow."

I was walking through the garage today on my way out to

work and in my path was this "rosy boa" snake. They are

harmless and my son moved him out and into the mountains

below. My son took this picture.

I'm glad it wasn't a rattler, even though they are much more

pretty. Have to always be on guard.

I received another ten dollar free and clear coupon

from Sports Chalet so I headed on over there hoping

that this time they will have a titanium spork.

(These ten dollar coupons are the cat's pajamas.)

Nope, no sporks in stock yet, so I bought this stuff instead.

The "climbing rated" carabiners are just kind of cool,

and the cord locks I can use right away.

But I still want that spork.

Westworld on Blu-ray!
One of my all time favorites. I have had the
DVDs for a long time, and now finally on Blu.

A tree I saw while out and around.

Yep. Smell that? Popcorn! I love that.

!!! 10 Cloverfield Lane !!!

I loved "Cloverfield" and when I heard that "10 Cloverfield Lane" was

coming out I was over the dang moon. I had waiting eight long

years for a follow up.

 

And here is my SPOILER FREE review: Don't waste your money.

Wait for this disappointment to come to the SyFy Channel. I rate

this 8 out of 10 Brass Turkeys.

At least Regal Theater's popcorn was awesome as usual.

After the show I bought Michael Jackson's

"Off The Wall" CD to in an effort to soothe my soul.

"Ouija" came down in price and even though I heard it was not

good, I gave it a go. I rate it 5 out of 10 evil spirits. It was okay.

I might watch it again in a few years. Don't pay more than $5 for it.

And lo and behold... There was still some .22 LR ammo on the shelves

at Walmart in the middle of the day! Things could be looking up.

My mom bought a candy selection that came with stuff like

peanut brittle and chocolate covered pretzels.

When we opened it up...

 

...these two little football rings were in there.
It still tickles me for some reason.

Just one of those things that kind

of make me go, "Hmmmmm."

My BFF Tom settled in to watch a movie

with me tonight at Borden Cinema.

Playing: Mad Max, the original. Released in 1979 Mel Gibson

was only twenty-one years old on his first outing as Maximillian "Max"

Rockatansky. He did a great job. I can see some Martin Riggs in there

with Max. I love Martin Riggs. And the Blu-ray is fantastic looking.

Tom and I love it.

The bottom of an old wooden post which is upside-down.

A restroom with no mirror usually indicates that you might
be in a rough town. It's worse when there is just a sheet of
scratched up metal that makes you feel like you are in a
circus fun house. At any rate, no mirror? Clutch your effects
a little tighter on your way out.

As an aside, I think black and white makes the other side

of  this restroom worth looking at. In color it is just trash.

In black and white it is artistic trash.

My son received another Loot Crate in the mail.

This is a little guy from "The Walking Dead". I don't

watch that show so I don't know who it is. But

he is a cool little guy.

I bought "The Boy" on DVD and watched it. This is an

Independent film and it is sa-low, with a capital slow.

I learned in the extras that it is hopefully (for the producers,

one of whom is Elijah Wood) that this is to be the first part

of a trilogy. If this is the case, I would like to see the second one.

I think it would make this one more interesting.

SPOILER ALERT! The location of this story is "the mountains

of the American West". That was half the reason I bought the movie.

I am all over the American West. But in the extras I learned that

this movie was filmed in Columbia S.A. That took away a little of the

spirit of the movie for me. I know, I know. Picky picky. Spaghetti westerns

were filmed in Spain and I am good with that. So.... Whatever.

And that is tons more than you needed or wanted to know, and more than

I was gonna write. Did I use "whom" correctly? I don't think so.

Oh, P.S. The boy is evil.
