!! Fun with Tires !!

I don't know what his name is, so I'll just call him John, Farmer John.

John has been sitting there for years, twenty-four hours a day, and it gets hot out there. On this day it was over 100 degrees. And yet there he sits. Night and day. Day after day. And he has a camera on his barn. He's pretty cool.

My computer is upstairs in the house and this guy is the guy who greets me as I reach the top of said stairs. He's been there for years and never complains of boredom or anything. In this photo you can see he is saying,
 "Que pasa señorita Tex?"
 I'm sure you've seen others like him, but he is mine.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was awesome. Of course, I'm a pretty big fan girl, so going into it I'm going to give it a lot of room for error. I am admittedly biased. But dang-it all, it was GOOD. I am very tempted to go see it again.

Above is some POTC swag that I picked up over the last few weeks. No biggie, just fun "junk". I'm hoping it is not another four years until the next installment.

The Captain Jacks on my shelf are tellin me that tomorrow is the day that I will be going to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Here's our modern day mule (more or less).

Without these things, gettin around this property would be purtneer major difficult. This picture was taken in an area where I liked to shoot my firearms. I don't shoot there lately. We worry about brush fires starting from a bullet ricocheting off a rock or something. It's a legitimate concern these days. I took this picture on a hot summer day with an old Sony Mavica. Not the best quality.

Doesn't this look like a nice, breezy, cool place to park your car? It almost looks as though you could lay a blanket out, open an ice cold beverage and have a lazy Sunday snooze.

Well, it's not. It's a hot, germ infested, litter filled Walmart parking lot.

I heard a ruckus outside one day and went out to find this baby hawk a little confused about how to exit our balcony. I don't know if he was scared or angry or both, but he was making a lot of noise. Unfortunately there was not much I could do but watch and he finally did find his way out.

Hee hee hee! Ha ha ha!! Ho ho ho!!!

Here's one of the sunflowers that I grew last year. I actually didn't have much luck with them. I'm thinkin they didn't get enough water, and then the birds got to the seeds before I did. I'm a slacker.
