~ Happy Halloween 2015 ~

Friday, October 30, 2015

It's almost Halloween, but wait!
There's more to see!

There is our very own Michael Myers!

Or how about Gru from Despicable Me?!

Just about everybody has seen this guy from
"American Horror Story". Nice kisser.

Buckets and buckets or rats just waiting for a
good home. I said, "Mi casa es su casa" to
two of them myself!

"Holy where is the rest of the costume, Batman?!"

Dangerous as Hell spiked bras!

Protection from dangerous as Hell spiked bras!

You've got an "Undead Tread" tire...

...and even a ghost costume for your little
four legged friend.

But best of all, tomorrow you've got Halloween!

This was a first for me. This is a Skeleton Wreath.
Looks like something from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
Kinda cool, if not a little "busy" looking.

I know she has major problems other than the obvious
sinus issues. She is seven feet tall and she moves.

Hey, here is something I can appreciate: Woody's cowboy
hat from "A Toy Story". You know I like cowboy hats.
As a matter of fact...

I wonder what is in the bag.

 Here is a hint.

That's right. I went to Boot Barn today to use a ten dollar
coupon I received for completing an online survey. This
is a Resistol Denison 7X Straw Hat. Not near the quality
or the price of my other recently purchased hat. But it is
still a Resistol and a fine hat. This hat will be known as
a "beater". Ain't gonna worry about beating this one up.

And now I have earned through the rewards program a
fifteen dollar coupon. Lord save them, they may never
see the end of me. Might be a new beaver felt Gus crease
hat in my future. That is kind of a long-shot, but a possibility.

After Boot Barn we (my mom and I) went over to SEARS because
I desperately needed a couple new pairs of Levi's jeans. Holy cow, those
things are STEEP! Anyway, after SEARS, we stopped at Denny's...

...for an ice cold Coca-Cola.
It was a fine day.

It seems to me that they could have done
a much better job on these ears. Of course
I have never seen "The Walking Dead" so
maybe the guy (or girl) really DOES wear
fake ass looking ears around their neck.

My son looked great in this hat. He could have
had a "Twilight Zone" episode written around
him, the way he looked wearing it.

Here is another guy who must be hating life, or
death or wherever he is at with all of this. He
kinda looks like he has a little in common
with the guy from yesterday.

Still plenty of animatronics on the shelves
when we were there.

This guy is lucky. He looks happy.

And this guy? Not so much.

And him?? Fergit about it.

Three more days to Halloween!

 ~ Spirit Tortured Soul 2015 ~

Sunday, October 25, 2015

They hardly have anything Jason Voorhees
anymore and as weak as this is, it ain't
Halloween without Jason.

She looks none too pleased with her
placement on the rack.

After my trip to the dentist today (Fun City) I
stopped over at Walmart and picked up the
"Pure Country" and "Pure Country 2: The Gift"
DVDs.  I do not usually enjoy these kind of romance
movies, but it is George Strait. I will play along.

As a matter of fact, I think I will watch it tonight
while I recuperate from the dental work.

So I am driving down the road today and I spot what
looks like somebody working in he woods. But as I
get closer I realize that that's not what it is. I pull a quick
U-Turn and see this guy just a' hangin' out.

Somebody propped this guy up out by nowhere.
THIS... Ladies and Gentlemen, is what Halloween is all
about. Whoever did this, I salute you.

And over at the Spirit Store I always love the group of skeletons
and I wish that I could have them all to display like this.

I don't even mind their funky dentures.

Just six more days to Halloween.

Friday, October 23, 2015

All it says on the tag is "Mouthful".
Man, this guy is anything BUT.

I left my heeeearts, on the shelf at Spirit.

Yep, it must be body parts day here
at El Rancho De La Tex.

All of this was at the Spirit Store.

Thursday, October 22, 2015

Oh man... I actually feel really sorry for this guy.
He looks very tormented.

How do you even follow that last picture up?
How about some jewelry for a
metal head costume.

I bought "I Spit On Your Grave III" (2015) today and
I watched it tonight. You want to see some angry women?
This would be your movie. I have the original and now the
remake trilogy. Sensitive subject and if gore is not your thing, pass.

Lawn Scares. And speaking of scares...

I arrived home from work late tonight. Nobody is up.
I sat at my computer checking the news and whatnot
and it must have been about thirty minutes after sitting
down that I just glanced over to my right and....

...I saw THIS thing sitting about five feet away from me!
Freaked me OUT! I overlooked it for a good half an
hour. My mom must have put it there while I was working.
That my friends, was a GOOD one.

"Welcome to Halloween Express, mortal!"
*gulp* Thank you, sir. I like your necklace, sir.

A minimalist costume.

Monday, October 19, 2015

You close your eyes and hope that this is just Imagination.
But all the while you hear the creature creepin' up behind.
'Cause this is thriller, thriller night, and no one's gonna save
you from the beast about to strike!*

*Thriller - Michael Jackson

I went to the dentist and here is some swag. My
hygienist gave me glowing reviews as far as my daily
regimen goes. However, I have to go back next week to have
two small cavities filled.

This is highly disappointing to me fo two reason:
One being money, and the other being WTH?!

HOLY S***!!

Saturday, October 17, 2015

My son and I voted these Creepy Clown Pathway Markers
among the top five coolest things we saw on our 2015 Halloween
Crawl. When the heads are activated by a button or motion sensor...

...the lights inside go on and they are the greatest colors. It plays
creepy circus music and there are lights inside that make it look
just like spotlights are running all over these guys heads from an
outside source. It's a great effect. Had they been just a bit less
expensive, we would have brought them home.

It is worth taking a trip to the Spirit Store just to see these clowns.

Friday, October 16, 2015

I wanted to try this mask on, but I didn't for whatever
reason. Anyway, what difference at this point does
it make? Know what I mean?

Thursday, October 15, 2015

The folks at the Spirit Store lovingly refer to this guy as
"Glass Head". How do I know they love him? By the way
they let him hang around! Tee hee.

The "Wreck It Ralph" ride prepares to
ride off into the sunset.
