I want a ride like this one.... But in my size...
And with enough quarters to ride for free.... forever.

I don't know what the name of this cactus is, but
every once in a while it shows us just how happy
it is by doing this.

Oh yeah, I remember now... It's name is Bob.
Hee hee hee. Ho ho ho.

This is an older photograph. Before the last about
eight years of my life, this was pretty much my diet.
Diet Pepsi (or Coke) and Marlboros or whatever I
chose to smoke at the time.

I don't smoke anymore, but I am still a Diet Coke
freak. It's actually a long story, but who in this world doesn't
have a long story. And by the way, I always have and
always will support the rights of folks who smoke cigarettes.

I bought my copy of Paranormal Activity 3 today.
It's the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy version. Not a
great movie, but a fun movie. There is usually at least
one scene in each of these movies that everybody talks about.
This one has got a pretty good one of those scenes.

I couldn't get a glare-less picture in my car today.

This is the Glendora Auto Center as viewed from the 210 to the 57
freeway interchange in of course, Glendora California. I used to pass
here just about weekly. Now, not so much.

This is a little Ghostface (from the movie SCREAM) that
I bought during Halloween at one of the seasonal Halloween
stores. I have several of these type guys. When you squeeze
them, they make a really loud screaming/howling noise.
Oh yeah, and his face lights up all red.

Fun stuff.

Here is another in a series of photographs from my visit to the Gene Autry
Western Heritage Museum. The Autry Museum is of course in Griffith
Park, California. It's right across from the L.A. Zoo. This picture
shows a street like you might see on a motion picture sound stage (well,
not really, but kind of). On this street, behind the window of every
facade is a display of items that would be used to create movies of
the old West. One display would be prop rubber pistols, another might be
kits used by makeup artists of the day. There is some really awesome stuff
here. The director up there is a mannequin. But I suspect you might
have known that already.

There are two things I never turn down: An opportunity to use the restroom,
and/or a chance to visit this museum. And if they both happen on
the same day? Doo-dah!! I'm in Heaven.

Hey, we had us some serious throw-downs in Target
parking lots in my time, but we ain't never done it with no
light beer. C'mon boys. You can do better then that.

For lunch at work I usually buy chips and a Diet Coke
but today the chip machine was broken so I was compelled to
purchase something out of the sandwich/soup/whatevers machine.
This is something I had never done before. I bought a ham
and cheese sandwich.

The first thing I did was hunt down some mustard. The second thing
I did was eighty-six the American cheese. American cheese is just nasty
and these kind of snacks are nasty enough already. The third thing
I did was mourn two dollars and twenty-five cents. But hey, the sandwich
was not bad at all. The picture was taken after I was finished.

That was one Hell of a story, Lizzy.

On December 2nd of last year I had written about how
darn lucky you'd be if you had one of these FYE movie
and music stores near you. I've been shopping here two
to three times a month for about six years. It's one of the last
good stores around. And one of the only stores where you can
find a large selection of used DVDs and CDs.

Well.....

...It seems as though I might have jinxed it.
That yellow and red sign says
"STORE CLOSING SALE".

This is not a good kind of sale. It is a goodbye kind of sale.
Today... I am bummed.

This is a picture I took of a rabbit out by some
cactus. He looks soooooo cute and sweet. It's too bad
that petting him might KILL YOU.

Heh heh.

"Send more cops!" - Return of the Living Dead (1985)

A button I bought at FYE.

What kind of a fan girl would I be if I let
THIS one get by me:

~ Happy Friday the 13th, 2012 ~

(That is of course one of my NECA "Freddy VS Jason" replica hockey masks.)

Some months back I had a picture of some skulls that
reside under the right side of my bed. Well here are a
a few guys that live (so to speak) under the left side of
my bed. My favorite is the second from the left that is
barely showing. The skull on the right is a pretty big one
that I bought at (of all places) Toys R Us many years ago.

They are nothing special, I just like 'em.
Probably more to come in the future, and admit it...
...a girl with skulls under her bed rocks your world.

My son won this little Domo plush key chain
out of a machine and gave it to me. I love stuff
like this when it comes from my son. I didn't
know who Domo was either.

This is Tramp from the 1955 Walt Disney animated movie
called "Lady and the Tramp". I bought him for my birthday last
week at The Disney Store. I love The Disney Store and have
purchased quite a few Disney animals/characters there,
usually at a clearance price, like Tramp was.

Knowing how I feel about cowboys and The West,
I suppose this would be the only choice for me should
I ever feel the need not to have unfenced property on any
property that I own, if I owned any property.

I was out at the Carlsbad (CA) Mall today. Yes, the same Carlsbad where
the infamous Paranormal Activities take place. There is a new store in
the mall. Comics-N-Stuff. This store is awesome. Not much "slasher"
material (my favorite), but if you look around there are lots of little (and
big) treasures to be found. I will be going back to this store and I see
HOURS of browsing in my future. The picture shows only about one
third the store's size.

Oh, and today is my birthday so I splurged on a Jack Sparrow
figure that I knew nothing about and had never seen before.
Upon researching the item when I arrived home, I found out that I
was ripped off. You win some, you lose some.

This phone company helicopter was supposed to be lowering my
HUGE custom made Happy New Year sign onto our property's hillside
for all to see. But they screwed up and brought some telephone pole or
something by mistake.

Stupid telephone company.
