Conan the Barbarian show at Universal Studios,
Hollywood, 1987.

"What's this? Lessie here... Conan late again.
Crowd is restless. This is going in the book."

"Strike that...  Here he comes."

DAY-UM.

NECA Friday The 13th Ultimate Part 6 Jason Action Figure.
I shouldn't have. I have enough Jason. I shouldn't do it, but as
Red Skelton might say, "I dood it anyway." I just love Jason.
Pictured above is the front of the beautiful
shadow box Jason comes in.

A picture of the seven inch Jason figure pops out at you on the
inside cover of the box. Just awesome artwork.

And here is Jason Voorhees himself. Unfortunately, he is staying
in the box so I cannot get a great picture of him. But he looks good,
real good. The body count in Part 6 Jason Lives is 18.

Good job Mr. Walking Dead man,
whoever you are! (I have not seen the show.)

That is the Golden Rule.

I had a craving for an Otter Pop the other day so I bought a
box of them when out grocery shopping. For those not in the
know, Otter Pops are like a Popsicle in a bag. You buy them
at room temperature and freeze them yourself. They were first
introduced to the world in 1970.

I discovered after getting home that one of them was leaking.
Sticky mess. So I washed them all and this is a picture of them
drying out. I love the blue raspberry Otter Pops.

When I got home tonight there was
a big beetle on the side of the house.

I don't know what kind of beetle this is,
so I will just call him..... Bullwinkle.

The days are longer and the weather is warming up. It is a
nice time to cook up some snacks while sitting outside and
enjoying the air. These potatoes inspired my appetite.

This guy hung out with me for a while. I couldn't get a good picture.
He is about seven feet from me. These little guys are pretty friendly.
They just sit and look at you. I have had them come up and sit in the
shade of my legs on a hot day.

Yeah, this was pretty good.

I bought Rob Zombie's newest CD: "The Electric Warlock Acid
Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser." I think he comes up
with these names to find out who his real fans are.

Rob: "Oh you like my stuff? Which CD is your favorite?"

Fan: "Oh I LOVE the Acid Trip Warlock Satan thing one."

Rob: "You must mean 'The Electric Warlock
Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser.'"

Fan: "Naw, that's not it."

Rob: "Count to ten count to ten..."

And in the midst of all the crazy awesome funhouse/horror/psychedelic
artwork he slips this in. I love that. The music on this CD? Some
like, some don't. I like.

Back to one of my favorite places today.

Captain America: Civil War. The only reason I went to see
this movie is because Tony Stark/Iron Man plays such a
big part in it. I am not a huge CA fan, but I am liking
him more as time goes by.

Unfortunately I worked the night before and did not get much
sleep so I did not enjoy this movie as much as others have. I
will buy it when it comes out on Blu-ray and watch it again.

I am still really liking the cute little
logo on these IMAX 3D glasses.

I am super tired tonight.

~ George Strait: The Cowboy Rides Away ~
Oh man, what great music. This CD has the final performance of
George Strait's "The Cowboy Rides Away" tour recorded live at
AT&T Stadium in Texas. This concert has a lot of his greatest
songs and features guests like Vince Gill, Faith Hill,
Alan Jackson, and Martina McBride.

I don't like live recordings, but this? Holy cow, great.

I love going to Boot Barn with my five dollar survey coupons.

Today I bought another pair of earrings. I'm trying to build up
my points again. There are some great things with my name on 'em.
And I have yet another.... you guessed it... I have another five dollar
coupon coming my way.

~ NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW ~
I also blind bought "Wild Horses" on DVD. It is "A Film by
Academy Award Winner Robert Duvall" so I am thinking
there will be something about it that I like.

Today you can see we are actually inside the Cylon landing craft.
This is intense. We are being held captive by those Cylons and
the Imperious Leader you see (kind of) up on his perch. Fortunately
for us, after a minute or two or so a good guy would come in and
kick some Cylon butt enabling our escape. See? Intense.

I hope the lady in front of us got a better photograph than I did.

I bought "SCREAM: The TV Series" on DVD. I watched with
very low expectations all of the episodes on TV last year and
I pretty much did end up enjoying it. I am going to start watching
this now because Season 2 is starting on May 30th. I am going to
do my best to catch it all again. Noah is back and that is good.

Now it is about time to release  the documentary "Urban
Cowboy: The Rise and Fall of Gilley's" on DVD which
also aired about a year ago. Please. PLEASE.

=======================================================

...later that night.

Tonight I watched 4 of the 10 episodes of the SCREAM TV series. I'm
liking it even better this time. No commercials, 5.1 surround sound
and widescreen. Above you see John Karna who portrays Noah Foster
on the show. Noah is kind of like the Randy (Jamie Kennedy)
character from the movies SCREAM 1 and 2. Randy is a beloved
character to me, but I ADORE Noah. Noah is adorable. Yes.

Oh, and if they ever make a biopic about David (I miss you) Bowie
and John Karna plays David, just remember, I called it. You saw
it here first.
