Here is another photo I took at Balboa Park in San Diego, California.
This view is looking towards El Prado opposite the Botanical Garden.
It is a shame that in August of last year somebody put an invitation on
Facebook (the Devil) that there was to be a free-for-all water gun fight
here. Many many "people" showed up and the pond ended up trashed.
Koi fish were killed. Vegetation was torn from the ground and huge water
lilies were destroyed. Trash was scattered about. Thousands and thousands
of dollars worth of damage. I believe it has since been repaired. I haven't
had the opportunity to visit since this happened. This picture will be full
